I'm Ned - a UK-based freelance photographer and Mountain Leader. 

My background is varied. I've worked in creative storytelling, digital marketing, community organising, expedition leadership and youth development. 

Now, I work with different expedition and conservation organisations to find creative ways to tell the stories of people and places.

As the primary photographer and in-house creative at the British Exploring Society, I oversee all media based projects across their multi-week expedition programmes around the world.

Through experience, I know what it takes to successfully operate as a photographer in challenging and remote environments and achieve great creative results. 

As a certified Mountain Leader I have professional experience of leading groups on challenging multi-day hikes and expeditions both overseas and in the UK. I’m passionate about helping people of all abilities experience the joy of exploring the wilderness and at the same time discovering their creative potential.
